WordMaxx Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-11-05

This Cookie Policy describes cookies and similar storage technologies used on https://playwordmaxx.com. For information about personal information, see our Privacy Policy.

Site functionality

WordMaxx stores game progress, drafts, first and best scores, and sound preferences in browser local storage. It uses the longer_player cookie, which lasts one year, to identify the browser for anonymous score comparisons. The server stores a hash of this identifier with the puzzle identifier and date, score, and completion time. Blocking or clearing storage can reset progress and preferences or prevent score recording; clearing browser storage does not delete existing server score records.

Analytics

This Site uses Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies and related technologies to help us understand visits and use of the Site. Google describes its practices in its Privacy Policy. You can learn about Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
